The 'Living-in-Space' Initiative was initiated by ACES Worldwide in 2024 in partnership with over a dozen other space-related space exploration organizations. We have now had several Zoom based panels with attendance by large audiences of hundreds of people from around the world from over 40 nations. ACES Worldwide is currently involved with editing a new book entitled The Future of Living in Space. It is to be published by Springer Press in 2026. This new book features some 18 chapters featuring internationally known space experts from around the world. It addresses the future of space transportation, space habitat designs, space health and medicine, robotics, space law, "NewSpace" business development, deep space economics, space architecture, and even space elevators and terraforming strategies for Mars. ACES Worldwide is also involved with the recruitment of leading space experts to write articles for a special issue of Frontiers in Space Technology that also addressing key topics related to deep space technologies, systems, law, and business development.

Please go to the website we have created to provide information about this Living in Space Initiative. It is actively supported by a growing alliance of international space-based organizations that support deep space research, development, and ultimately realizing the potential of a true deep space economy. We believe that some of these developments will create new technologies, systems, medical and environmental capabilities that will be key to the longer term preservation and sustainability of Biosphere Earth and the ability to cope with climate change, cosmic hazards, and other threats to human survival in centuries to come. See the following web address to see the alliance of sponsoring organizations and the various activities already completed and key new efforts underway. Please join this key growing global deep space exploration initiative.
